Jill Packard Announcement

Greetings!

The Mylyfe family is very excited to announce the hiring of Jill Packard in the role of Manager of Public Relations!

If you don’t already know her, Jill is the mother of two teenaged sons affected by a bleeding disorder. For ten years, Jill served in many roles at the Hemophilia Alliance of Maine, notably as co-founder and Executive Director. She currently owns and operates a small retail business in Maine where she also lives with her husband, children, dogs, and chickens on what she calls a “mini-farm”. She has degrees in Art History, Political Science, and Environmental Science. She has served on numerous committees and boards including the Hemophilia Federation of America Board of Directors, the Care Access Working Group, and the New England Bleeding Disorders Advocacy Coalition. When I asked her why she wanted to work with Mylyfe, Jill said, “Since I left my post at the Hemophilia Alliance of Maine, I have been trying to figure out how to continue to best serve the bleeding disorders community. There have been many times in my life that I had said I would not work in the healthcare private sector again, but having had the opportunity to run a small business that has statewide reach coupled with a high social impact, I’ve been able to deeply understand how socially responsible companies can have a real and lasting impact. Especially in our current culture and in times like these.

Throughout my life, I’ve been focused on how to help people discover value in what is often immeasurable – the value of communication, deep service to others, the inherent value of individuals and nature, the value of community, the value of joy, and the value of choice. When I saw that Mark Zatyrka had started a new company, I instantly knew that it was going to be something amazing. He’s done so much in his life while serving others and has done so with passion and strength of heart that is incomparable. When I checked out Mylyfe and found that its governing principles are directly aligned with my values – we all deserve to live our best lives – I wanted to be a part of helping Mark grow an organization that truly gets it.”

I have been a huge fan of Jill’s since the day we met almost 10 years ago. Anyone who knows Jill knows her integrity, honesty, and tenacity are undeniable. Combined with her intelligence, compassion, and fun spirit, Jill is an absolute ideal team member here at Mylyfe. Jill embodies everything that Mylyfe stands for. We are doing incredible things at Mylyfe and Jill will be a guiding light for our company.
